The first installment in a planned trilogy of Genghis Khan. This one deals with the rise of Temudgin as young boy to becoming Khan. The production quality and the cinematography (amazing vista shots of Mongolia & Kazakhstan) are first rate for a Russian, Mongolian, German effort!!! If you have read anything about Genghis Khan (Day of Empire by Amy Chua has some very good info), this movie, and hopefully the trilogy, fills in gaps.
