Review of Mongol: The Rise of Genghis Khan (2007) by Debby C — 13 Sep 2010
Sweeping landscapes and beautiful cinematography bring this historical epic comparisons to Lawrence of Arabia, but like Lawrence I found this to be uncomfortably slow paced. Less character development, more conquering - though there's apparently 2 sequels to this movie planned so I may get my wish.
