Review of Moneyball (2011) by Logan B — 22 Oct 2012

I would say that this is a great sports film, but this is one of those rare films that transcends genre and should be considered simply a great film. The performances from the leads Brad Pitt, Phillip Seymour Hoffman and Jonah Hill (yes, the guy from Superbad) are nohting short of marvelous.

With the unmistakable dialogue from writer Aaron Sorkin, which zips about with so much wit and the excellently crafted direction of Bennett Miller, Moneyball gets it right on every level. One of the best films of 2011.
