Review of Money Monster (2016) by Gary G — 24 May 2016
Another pretty good film. Predictable, but well acted. Hollywoody, but not oppressively so. Sure the cops are evil and stupid but that major characters aren't too bright either. The financial scam was laughable except for its failure.
The idea that it had always worked before was silly, but hey, Hollywood. Well directed. Some funny stuff, though often I was the only one in the theater laughing, but I am pretty sure humor was usually intentional.
