Review of Mon Oncle (1958) by Tyler J — 15 Jul 2007
Tati tackles technology and the modern world. Stands up there with some of the best comedies of all time. Kind of like a french Modern Times, I guess. There are some fantastically funny scenes in this, and tati makes great use of his wide filming angle and playing around with the sound effects.
Not quite any director like him. This is probably my favorite of all his films.
