I was expecting a Guy de Maupassant's Mon Oncle Hulot, and clearly, I was wrong. And sorry, I have to compare Jacques Tati to Chaplin. I think he is way too boring and dumb funny in a way. Chaplin was smart funny, not awkward clumsy.
Slapstick is just not for me.
