Review of Mon Oncle (1958) by Monika W — 29 Jan 2009
I saw this at a local film festival. At first I thought it was going to be long and dragged out but as I got into the premise I fell in love with the main character and his antics. The only way I can think of to describe it is "Pink Panther" meets "The Jetsons".
Even though it's French with subtitles, the physical comedy is the universal language that makes this such a gem. If you're looking through your Netflix catalog and want something different and fun, consider this one!
