Review of Mon Oncle (1958) by Emerson 1 — 29 Apr 2008
Pretty much in the vein of the artwork of Led Zeppelin's IVth album, this movie provides a contrasted snapshot of the old time, increasingly invaded by modernity and the apprehensions and angst that it triggers.
If the content itself proves to be somewhat cheesy, the aesthetics remain truly remarkable.
