Review of Moms' Night Out (2014) by Tom B — 05 Sep 2014
This movie is spot-on funny! "Chick Flicks" are not typically my choice for viewing, but, knowing my wife appreciates them, I picked this one up to watch with her. Within the first 2 minutes both my wife and I were laughing so hard that are two teenage kids came in to see what was so funny.
What makes the film funny is that the situations encountered are believable and the characters are compilations of people you know. The professional movie critics must have an ideal of life where they wish to see on people curse, fight, lie, have sex with anything that moves and shun religion to the point that they could not appreciate the real life of this film.
Either that or they have nannies so they do not have to see their children . . . or, perhaps, just no children. Regardless, the movie is very funny and my wife is already planning a mom's night get together to have her friends over and show it to them.
This film is now a family favorite!
