This is just an amazing movie! I can't believe that critics were so cruel to Faye Dunaway about her performance...it's brilliant!! Yes, the rose garden scene may be over the top, but it and all the other scenes are played excellently.
..by Dunaway and the rest of the cast. It is breath-taking.
