Told primarily by Christina Crawford's perspective. It is about the twisted relationship between Christina Crawford and her movie star mother, Joan Crawford. There is a scene that would put fear into the most fearless hearts, Faye Dunaway's scary visage with eyes practically bulgging out of her head screaming about those wire hangers.
Way over the top? Yes but it is still most horrifying to watch.
