Review of Molly's Game (2017) by Liam C — 22 Jan 2018
While the constant time jumps and cheesy ending bring the film down, Molly's Game is supported by incredible performances from Jessica Chastain and Idris Elba (even though Elba's accent is a bit of a mess), exceptional writing and directing from Aaron Sorkin, and a scene between a father and a daughter that is as emotionally satisfying as any scene this year.
