Fast-talking, intelligent, script-driven movie, with excellent acting, especially on the part of Jessica Chastain, Idris Elba (powerful screen presence), and Kevin Costner. The skating rink sequence with the father pop-up is a little over the top, but it's essential to the movie.
Like a third act, in a play.
