Review of Modify (2006) by Ben C — 23 Sep 2008
This films was pretty damn interesting. It amazes me to no end not only what people will do to their own bodies, but the amount of modification that the human body can withstand and adapt to. Also, in a year where the amount of penis mutilation I have seen on film has risen dramatically, it was refreshing (is that the word I really want to use?) to see some damage intentionally done to one's penis by oneself.
Lastly, what amazes me the most is that the hardest part of this film to watch is all the medical/cosmetic plastic surgery...I much prefer the piercing, slicing, inserting etc.
