Review of Modern Times (1936) by Neena H — 07 Aug 2008
Timeless, as is Charlie Chaplin. The clumsiness and impulsiveness of the helpless but lovable "Tramp" provides an ever amusing contrast to the routine and formulated backdrop of rising industry.
Not only his infamous character, but also Chaplin's satire of the industrial era is highly comical even in context of today.
