Review of Modern Times (1936) by Nic B — 12 Aug 2010
Its seventy four years old, but Modern Times holds up astoundingly well, and is far superior (and funnier) to/than almost all comedies made these days. Chaplin, juggling his roles as Actor, Director, Writer and Composer, manages to complete all four with aplomb.
A masterpiece in every sense of the word, and completely hilarious.
