Review of Mod Fuck Explosion (1994) by Brandon S — 01 Aug 2010
Jon Moritsugu's masterpiece the film feels like Rebel Without a cause on acid made by a Japanese American director. The film follows a girl named London, who has a brother that is in the Mods gang who are going to have a rumble with the Japanese biker gang that is lead by Moritsugu himself.
Meanwhile the rest of the film is populated with weirdoes talking about sex and politics, it's also filled with acts of teen angst and alienation. The film does have a great sense of style and the soundtrack is one of the best ever compiled.
