Review of Moana (2016) by Aïko G — 18 May 2017
Moana is an animated adventure movie that will entertain you and your children. We see Moana growing up in her village, destined to become the next chief. But she longs for the sea and adventure. When a curse grips her island and makes all food bad, she has no other option than going out into the unknown to find Maui.
She then has to make him return the heart of a goddess he has stolen 3000 years ago. This movie is colorful and beautiful, it has mystic elements and humour. It has everything to pull you through the movie in a heartbeat.
The songs are also great, although not as memorable as previous Disney movies.
