Review of Moana (2016) by Emma B — 17 Aug 2017
Moana is a beautiful and redefining Disney animation. Without a Prince Charming in sight for her to run off to marry at the end, it sends a great message to young children about knowing the value of yourself and especially to young girls.
The animation itself is vibrant with something that catches your eye throughout. The music is catchy and pairs well. Even from the cast behind the animation staying true to Pacific island roots. My three children watch moana every single day, two boys age 2&6 and a girl aged 4.
It's truly underrated and knocks the socks off frozen!
