Review of Moana (2016) by Ms L — 29 Sep 2017
7.5/10. Of course it was well done as per usual. The animation was top notch. One of the most highly detailed animated films I've seen since Pixar's The Good Dinosaur. A bit of a predictability with the overall story I will admit and even felt like a typical Disney flick in some cases, but this still stands out pretty well on it's own much like previous films by Disney Animation.
It is a neat theme even while it feels like it is used often. It may be like a typical Hawaiian-like feel, but it still stands out okay with not just it's lush looks, but with the unique fantasy elements within.
Disney continues to know how to relate to just about any audience, including the modern era, for such a former yet classic company that still remains.
