Review of Missionary Man (2007) by Eugene Y — 17 Apr 2008

I had such a high hope for this movie because it was written and directed by and starring Dolph Lundgren. I was not exactly let down but this could have been so much better if it had more action. There are some satisfactory action in the last showdown, but not good enough to make this into a list of other Lundgren classics.

Lundgren is charismatic as ever. The movie itself is a pretty high quality and I especially liked the cinematography. It is amazing how Lundgren pulled off this quality with such a small budget. With a higher budget, he can definitely create a masterpiece.
