Review of Mission Possible: Kidnapping Granny K (2007) by Zachary L — 11 Oct 2008
Lovable characters make this comedic kidnapping film work. When three down-on-their-luck criminals decide to kidnap the owner of a successful restaurant chain, everything that can go wrong does. What eventually develops after some crazy kidnapping is a police vs.
criminal game as they outsmart them. "Granny K" could have been a little more out there like the posters may imply, but overall her character makes the movie work. You also start feeling for the three poor kidnappers as their personal plights are revealed and go through anything to achieve those goals.
