Review of Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation (2015) by Jens L — 12 Dec 2015
I do not know what any of these "critics" are talking about. This film is yet another atrocious Tom Cruise vanity piece. The grounding and plot is utterly farcical, the action unemotional and dull at times, the comedy delivered like sand paper. This film is just bad, and not so bad it's good.
I keep seeing positive reviews of this film and I do not know why. Each review takes one positive aspect, such as the leading actress Rebecca Ferguson doing an astoundingly well done job with the script given, and then proceeds to ignore the rest of the film such as the awkward and clunky dialogue or maybe that the entire antagonist organisation and it's creation makes no sense. The film and it's recognizable actors sole responsibility is to prop up Tom Cruise's ego. And for some reason the critics are going along with it shamelessly.
I give Rogue Nation 2/5 stars and every critic rewarding this travesty 1/5 stars.
