Review of Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation (2015) by Sirnilesiv — 02 Aug 2015
Not a bad movie, per se; but is very much in the summer blockbuster trope. Go in expecting cogent script writing and you'll find this movie is a 3, at best. However, go in expecting a silly fun time and you'll give it what I did, a 6+.
There are many (too many) moments where everything just works out for Mr. Cruise and team, but it's not for lack of trying; one has to give Cruise an A for *trying* to still be an 80's action hero, despite his early onset age and height.
Simon Pegg is really funny though and Alec, is well, Alec; which is to say always fun to watch.
