Review of Mission: Impossible III (2006) by Alec B — 03 Aug 2015
The only film in the series with a villain that's actually menacing . . . true they don't do a lot with Hoffman but every time he's on screen the movie lights up. Abrams' screenplay leaves a lot to be desired (just because you give Ethan Hunt a wife he has to rescue, doesn't mean you've made him into an interesting character) but his action staging is effective enough to make this a decent entry in the franchise.
