Review of Mission: Impossible II (2000) by Raji K — 24 Jan 2012
This movie pretty much defines the blockbuster summer sequel. The movie removes story, and puts action in its stead. The film is high octane, full of special effects, and is predictable. With all that said, this movie is quite enjoyable as an action film, and well directed by John Woo.
Tom Cruise is great as Hunt, and has great chemistry with the new girl in Hall. The movie is by no means a masterpiece and is easily forgotten, but it is fun for viewing initially, but has little to no replay value.
