Review of Mission: Impossible II (2000) by Jin T — 04 Aug 2015

John Woo directs this time for the second Mission: Impossible movie. If you're fan of his work like I am, you would recognize his style of directing. Zooming in dramatically, prolonged eye gazing at each other, unexplained stylized action scenes, and straight to the point dialogue.

But that's what I like about John Woo's work and I really like his direction in Hardboiled. It's one of my favorite action films of all time. To see his directorial ways in this movie was a good treat and yes, I admit, I chuckled at some of the moments I thought it was so ridiculous but it was entertaining nevertheless.
