Review of Miss Sloane (2016) by Wesley B — 05 Dec 2016
A movie about the lobbyist industry in Washington DC and how dirty and powerful it really is. This one happens to take on gun control issues but that's not 100% relevant to the story. Although it does a great job of getting gun control issues in front of the viewing public in a whole new light.
Jessica Chastain's performance will almost certainly get her an Oscar nomination for this role. Very well written, edited, directed and acted, this is just the type of film that the academy loves.
