Review of Miss Sloane (2016) by Wyeth B — 14 Jan 2018
Jessica Chastain plays a very compelling lobbyist, which is a tough profession to make compelling. While the plot might play into West Wing-esque political wish fulfillment, and the ending might be somewhat predictable, this was a great and timely Washington film that employs the kind of nuance many films in the genre lack.
