Review of Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day (2008) by Lindsay K — 02 Dec 2012
How Effin Cute is this movie? I felt like I was watching a REALLY good school play, with really good actors/actresses. Amy Adams is the bomb. I don't see myself getting sick of seeing her play "over the top" broadway like characters.
And Frances Mcdormand is the bomb. She really has the ability to absorb any character she plays. It's a bit dissapointing walking out of the theater, because you felt like you totally were just in 1930s London, and you don't want to leave.
