Review of Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children (2016) by Matheus C — 18 Oct 2016

The acting was fine, and the writing wasn't bad (although I suspect the source material had more to do with that than the people who did the screenplay). The cinematography on a movie that should have been eye-popping was just completely absent. Also, the choice in music for various scenes was either jarring or just completely sucked all of the drama out of it.

It seems like a good idea that was just executed poorly.
