I personally loved Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. However, there were aspects which I did find a bit silly, for example, Jake's only power being seeing the hollows is pretty lame, he should have another power.
The powers were very original and cool. Also, I loved the action in the film but it was definitely NOT a PG film, so many people got killed in a graphic way. Overall, it was a strong film with a few weak aspects that probably wasn't for kids.
