If you enjoyed the books, don't waste your time on this movie. It will only make you mad. It's frustrating when directors "read" a book and think "that was good, I guess, but this is how I think it should have happened".

Then proceed to make a movie with almost nothing correct and give it the same title as the book. Characters names/peculiarities where changed or omitted. Important plot points were never introduced making it confusing and hard to follow.

The last 30 minutes weren't even an adaptation, they never happened in any of the books. The cast was great but unfortunately are in a movie that shouldn't have been made. Then again if you haven't read the books nor plan on doing so, watch and have fun!
