Review of Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children (2016) by Davidtejada — 01 Feb 2017
The 2016’s was remarkable because we saw plenty movies based on a book. Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children it’s a case where the imagination flows but the plot stays, it has ambitious effects and scenic environments but the characters (or most of them) focus more on making people laugh and show their abilities than its behaviour and characteristics from the book, what I acclaimed was Eva Green’s participation, which no doubt was as well as expected.
What I did not like was the childish moments that peculiar children did, for example…¡¡¡SPOILER ALERT!!! take the final part when Jacob Portman tells Emma Bloom the travel that he did, and suddenly they kissed, I mean, why didn’t you guys skip that part? Finally I would like to say that if you’re that big on romantic scenes just take Portman’s and Bloom’s moments which made just a decent work on that.
