Review of Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children (2016) by Ming120 — 08 Oct 2016

I watched this movie without reading the book, and so I had to judge this movie based on entertainment value alone. I was not disappointed. The plot is full of intriguing twists that just grips you right from the beginning, and the characters are all fascinating.

The drawback is that many of the characters are could have been fleshed out a little bit more. Additionally, I feel that the climax of the movie was a bit rushed, and somewhat underwhelming. And yeah, there are certain bits of the movie that made absolutely no sense, but it is one of those story lines where making sense isn't really the point.

Overall, the movie was a fun experience and is worth watching with family and loved ones.
