Review of Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children (2016) by Shelly N — 15 Oct 2016
As usual Tim Burton is lacking in the story department. The visuals were okay, but the characters and story feels very crammed in and there are a lot of plot holes. Like many other Burton movies, it just misses something.
If you've read the book (like I have), don't watch it. Otherwise it may be okay. If you're okay with just pretty visuals and no story, no character building, no interesting lore and an antagonist that is a joke (it's not Jacksons fault in my opinion), watch this!
