Review of Mishima: A Life in Four Chapters (1985) by Matt B — 13 Jul 2008
This is a very unique and well executed film. Mishima was obviously a very complex and intellectual person, and the way the movie weaves between the different aspects of his life and works is brilliant.
Philip Glass' score really made the movie for me, it works perfectly with the visual aspect. Visually this is one of the most beautiful pictures I have ever seen.
