Review of Misery (1990) by David G — 22 Oct 2011
James Kaan and Kathy Bates are undoubtedly very talented actors. However, compared to Stephen King's novel, this film is somewhat harder to sympathise with. Some crucial characterisation is skimmed over, leaving a less impressive impact than the book, however it still remains that this film is an artistic triumph which is a good representation of the horror genre.
