Review of Mirrors 2 (2010) by Vincent P — 24 Oct 2010
There's just something so inherently spooky about mirrors that it was practically a given that this movie would be at the very least mildly disconcerting. While there's a a nifty trip into mirror world and some pretty disgusting doppleganger-induced self-mutilations that almost trump those of the first, the acting is, for the most part, pretty sub-par and the whole thing comes off feeling really cheap. I mean, the new Mayflower Department Store has more seating (and other rentals from the prop house including lamps and side tables) than it does clothes for sale.
But hey, you can do a whole lot worse in direct-to-video land.
