Review of Miracles from Heaven (2016) by Nevaeh D — 16 Mar 2016
One of the best faith films I've seen lately. Well acted. Very emotional. Would see this again. Just because it's considered by audiences as a "religious" film don't think it's sugary sweet in it's approach. It deals with tough issues such as why God allows pain and suffering. It shows the intense difficulty parents can go through feeling completely helpless as they watch their child dying or in tremendous pain. It also takes us through the small miracles and blessings that can happen in our day to day lives that we may miss or don't realize. A lovely heartwarming and inspirational film.
PS: I noticed a reviewer on here said that the family relied on "faith healing" only for their daughter. This is completely false. Don't know if that reviewer saw the same movie??? The family took her to Dr. Samuel Nurko, one of the leading Gastroenterologists in the world at Boston Children's Hospital.
