The title turned me off at first but I decided to watch it anyway and Im glad I did. The acting from the main characters was very good. I thought the first few medical professionals encountered were awful.

I would hope those scenes would never happen in real life. I also wish the filmmakers asked more opinions on medical accuracy because someone or regular tube feeding would have a permanent tube put in place( likely directly through her abdomen) and a tube to feed her through her nose would never be removed for her to go to school without it each day.

also the first time she has an ng tube inserted they do it with her laying down and dont offer her water to help her swallow.. anyway ignoring those things it was a good movie. I did not expect the turn it took and was glad I had stuck through :) I was impressed too that a couple quite religious people at their church were spoken of as being very wrong.

I agree. its awful what people can say to people who are struggling. im so glad to see at the end the real family and know that this is a true story. :).
