Review of Miracle at St. Anna (2008) by Charlie B — 14 Feb 2009

I tried to like this, I really did, but is just too awful. I can't believe a guy like Spike Lee, no matter how mad he is at the man, would make a movie full of stereotypes. There is a way to deal with the topic of discrimination, he just fills the screen with bad stereotypes.

Add to that a horrible script, horrible performances, a slow pace, and a distractingly bad score, and you have one of the worst movies of the year. I like you Spike, but stay away from big movies like this.
