Tough movie to review. The first 3/4 of the movie are pretty terrible. Choppy storytelling. Terrible acting. Worse directing (Spike Lee just hits you over the head with every "symbolic" shot, piece of dialogue, etc.
). But then somehow it all gets tied together at the end in a super-intense ending. The subject matter / fundamental story is fascinating and overall, could have been told better. But wow... that ending.
