*meh* That pretty much sums up my thoughts on this movie.
The movie did make me laugh, but the central story just felt uninspired and dry. If anything another way to say it is that this movie is a series of stand alone sketches forcefully stuck together by a weak plot. But it isn't, bag. Just not that good.
Overall:
Another example of why mascot characters should not be given their own movie. Minions is good for a few giggles, but don't expect too much from it.
