Review of Mimic (1997) by Kjetil H — 21 Nov 2009
I just wasn't feeling this monster movie from acclaimed director Guillermo Del Toro. Its his second full length feature after Cronos, both written by and directed by himself.
The pacing is off at times and the creatures were too vague in terms of their abilities. They are giant cockroaches, but can mimic humans and blend in by wearing a basic disguise. Let's just say Men in Black did it much better.
Not one of Del Toro's better movies.
