Review of Millions (2005) by Tana B — 05 Mar 2008
This film charmed me, and touched me on so many levels. Not only is the cinematography brilliantly done, especially the tracking shots, but it's spot on in casting and screenplay.
Early on in the film, in a scene with the younger boy, my husband took the words out of my mouth and said, "Where's the tiger?" Meaning Hobbes. It's like Radio Flyer (without the ACTUAL violence) crossed with Calvin and Hobbes with It's a Wonderful Life. Somehow.
Nothing like a little optimism.
