Review of Millions (2005) by Joe L — 16 Apr 2009
It's a really fun and innocent film from Danny Boyle. The main boy is perhaps too good in his intentions to be that realistic but that's the whole point of the story. It is really cool to see how people react in such a turmoil situation as was when the countries of Europe switched to the Euro so seeing a glimpse at maybe what England would have done if it did switch was very clever.
It's a whole lot better than most films that deal with the average Joe who finds a lot of money in a bag and is entertaining entirely. Overall well shot with a great soundtrack and the young leads do a great job.
A very good film that anybody of any age can love!
