Review of Millions (2005) by Kelsey H — 04 Jan 2012
This movie has a few positives going for it, but not enough to compensate for the preachy concept, Boyle's unbefitting twitchy cinematography, and frustrating protagonist. Even more annoying is that the ending of the film makes the quest of the movie unecessary.
I think the brother of the main child would have made a more interesting story for me, accompanied with a different director's approach, perhaps either Del Torro or Aronofsky as they've both done such wonderful work with fantasy themes in the past.
