Review of Million Dollar Arm (2014) by Kelly V — 20 May 2014
This movie is an underdog story, like the ones Disney is famous for. However that doesn't make it any less enjoyable. I loved seeing the story unfold and the main character's heart melt from his Grinch-like persona to a guy you can't help but cheer for.
I loved the three Indian guys, Dinesh, Rinku and Amit with the translator being my favorite. And Brenda was a breath of fresh air that added the perfect ingredient to the movie. I'm very happy Jon Hamm picked this as his first movie leading role.
He nailed it.
