Review of Miller's Crossing (1990) by Sam A — 19 Jan 2014
While it isn't the best gangster film ever and certainly doesn't come close to the other gangster movie released in 1990, Goodfellas, Miller's Crossing is a gripping and well acted, my favorites being Albert Finney as the clueless, not very intelligent mob boss Leo and John Turturro as the slime ball, somewhat cowardly Bernie.
The cinematography was impressive and some of the tense scenes with biting dialogue among characters were jaw-droppingly well done Miller's Crossing is a great film from the brilliant directors, the Coen Brothers.
